Andys Man Club Festival is set to take place on Sunday 29 August at Penwortham Cricket Club.
Andys Man Club is a charity for men who might be struggling. This doesn’t have to be mental health problems, it could be that they are lonely, having a bad week, work is stressing them out and more.
The festival will include a Yorkshire Vs Lancashire Cricket match made up by members of the groups in each county, a BBQ, fully stocked bar, kids entertainment including bouncy castles, caricaturists, face painters and a tombola, raffle and a silent auction.

The day will also include three local bands, Joyride, Saraban and Feel Good Factor, the latter being a nine piece band playing the best blues and soul music to get people dancing and singing.
Andys Man Club was created after a terrible tragedy. Andy Roberts was a loving and doting father, son brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Sadly, tragically and without any warning Andrew, at 23 years old, was taken away from all his family and friends by suicide.
Andys Man Club want to help people to talk as on average, one man every two hours takes their life in the UK, and not communicating is thought to be a factor in this.
Andys Man Club want to break down any stigmas – the more men talk about what they are going through, the more lives will be saved.
Parking is available at the cricket club. It will be free to attend, although donations are welcome.
Andys Man Club are looking for tombola, raffle and auction items, and volunteers to help on the day. If you can offer any of the aforementioned, email: Christopher_pope@hotmail.com
