Police raid suspected brothel in St Matthews

Preston Neighbourhood Police have conducted a search at an address in Harling Road on the St Matthews ward and found a suspected brothel.


As a result of further enquiries two individuals a 50-year-old male from Burton-on-Trent and a 53-year-old female from Preston have been arrested for offences of human trafficking under the modern slavery act and being concerned in the management of a brothel.

Interviews and enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting log 1484 of July 22.
