Police arrest Preston woman following Ribbleton stabbing

Police have arrested a 25-year-old Preston woman on suspicion of assault following a stabbing in Ribbleton.


The police were called at around 12.05am on Wednesday 28 July to reports that several people had been seen damaging a car on Langcliffe Road.

After arriving, they discovered that a vehicle had collided with a lamp post and had been damaged.

A man in his twenties was found at the scene with a stab wound to his leg, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect was bailed until August 17.
