Farington Roofing warning people of the scam artists operating under the same name

Farington Roofing in Chorley have taken to social media to warn residents about a wave of poor work being done under their name.


The scam artists have been providing ‘less than satisfactory work.’

They have warned those across Lancashire that unless you have dealt with Jeff Nelson, a member of the guild of Master Craftsmen then you have not been dealing with the official Farington Roofing.

A spokesperson from Farington Roofing in Chorley said: “Chorley is a small town and I know a lot of people round here as I’ve been in the roofing business for 40 years.

“Without a doubt shabby work has been done with someone using my name as a reference in one way or another, and members of the public have confirmed this directly to me.”
