An arson investigation is underway after a house fire in Ribbleton.
Three people were rescued from a first storey window at the property in Fair Oak Close in the early hours of today (Saturday 10 July).
Three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended the scene for around 45 minutes.
Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation unit to put out the fire.

A spokesperson for Preston Police said: “We are currently investigating a report of arson which occurred on Fair Oak Close, Ribbleton during the early hours of this morning. Thankfully no one was harmed in the incident.
