More than 20 mobile homes arrived on at Ribbleton Park on Sunday, 25 July, with police carrying out a raid at the makeshift camp on Wednesday, 28 July.

Lancashire Constabulary ‘paid a visit’ to the park after receiving reports of stolen caravans allegedly taken from a storage site in Euxton.

Police seized six caravans and a car.

It is not clear how long the group have been given to vacate the site, but several caravans appear to remain.
