Aerial pictures of travellers on Ribbleton Park have shown the police presence whilst trying to move them elsewhere.
Caravans still remain in the Preston park despite the occupants being ordered to leave.
More than 20 mobile homes arrived on at Ribbleton Park on Sunday, 25 July, with police carrying out a raid at the makeshift camp on Wednesday, 28 July.
Lancashire Constabulary ‘paid a visit’ to the park after receiving reports of stolen caravans allegedly taken from a storage site in Euxton.
Police seized six caravans and a car.
Photos show caravans and vans parked over much of the park’s grassed areas after Travellers gained access to the land via Blackpool Road.
Preston City Council visited the site to speak to the group and have commenced the process to evict them from the park.
It is not clear how long the group have been given to vacate the site, but several caravans appear to remain.
