Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage in Deepdale after a man was threatened with a knife and a firearm was discharged.
AdvertisementThe man in his 30’s was approached by three other men who threatened him with a blade and fired a gun into the air on Wednesday May 19.
Police arrived to Goldfinch Street, where the incident happened, at around 11:30pm that evening.
The man threatened was not injured but police say that an investigation has been launched and enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances. As detectives are keen to speak to any witnesses and anyone who may have CCTV footage of the incident.

Detective Con Stephen Rotherham, of Preston CID, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone with information about this incident. I believe someone will be able to help our enquiries. If you saw the firearms discharge, or the man being threatened, please come forward.”
