Preston City Council have a walk in vaccination centre open today at Cardinal Newman College, Preston, Herschell St. car park, PR1 3QU.
The opening hours are 9am-12.30pm and then 1.30pm-5pm.
This is one of a series of clinics open around Preston this week.

Date – Monday – Sunday (Moderna, plus 2nd dose AZ)
Time – 8am – 8pm

The walk-in clinics are open to anyone aged 18 and over, subject to eligibility. Anybody who is eligible and living or working in Preston and surrounding areas as well as anybody with a caring responsibility for somebody else who lives in the local area can access a vaccination via the mobile site.
If you are unsure if you are eligible, please visit a clinic and speak to the team.
The eligibility criteria is as follows:
No appointment is needed, just walk-in during the above operating hours.
Hot weather is predicted throughout the week so be prepared with a drink and sunscreen applied as depending upon demand there may be a wait for your vaccine.

Once you have received your vaccination from one of our qualified vaccinators there is a waiting area where the team will make sure you are well.
You will also be provided with information on how to manage any side effects you may experience.
Social distancing measures will be place throughout, and please remember to wear a mask unless you are exempt.
