The Plungington Hotel is set to reopen tomorrow (Sunday 13 June).
AdvertisementThe news comes after a campaign was launched and protests held to save the popular Fulwood pub.
Posting in the Facebook campaign group, Lis Hampshire said: “Hi, my name is Lis and my husband is Paul, just letting everyone know we are working every hour to get this amazing pub open again.
“Please be patient as there is so much to do, we have deliveries coming every day. We are hoping to be open very soon, I will keep you all updated regularly and super excited to meet you all.”
A new Facebook page for The Plungington Hotel has since launched, where the news of the reopening was confirmed.
A comment in response to a question about food being served said: “We are just focused on opening, we are having to find all the furniture and equipment for inside as everything was sold off.”
The Plungington Hotel will be showing Euro 2020 games, including England v Croatia, which kicks off at 2pm tomorrow.

Rumours had previously swirled on social media saying the Lytham Road pub might be sold off for housing.
The Meat and Drink group had handed the pub back to owners Admiral Taverns in October 2020.
A planned refurbishment never materialised, and instead Admiral Taverns told LancsLive they were ‘considering the options’ as the pub ‘no longer had a long term sustainable future’.
