It follows various incidents of disorder in the Deepdale area earlier today (Saturday 12 June), which involved a group of youths and weapons.

The order was authorised by Lancashire Police at 3.45pm and will remain in place until the early hours of the morning.

It gives officers the power to stop and search anyone in the area.
