One of Preston’s newest bars, Market Street Social, is set to bring Social Sundays to the city.
Starting from this Sunday (6 June), the weekly event will feature DJs and a makers market.
The Jazzin’ The Park DJ collective will be playing the likes of Rare Groove, Afro Beat, Hip Hop and Jazz, while the market will see an eclectic mix of stalls running through from Clayton’s Gate down to the vaults in sister bar Plau.

A range of cocktails, wines, beers and coffees will be available alongside food including a Sunday Roast.
A spokesperson for Market Street Social, which is off Friargate, said: “This is the first of a number of announcements of events and happenings coming to Market Street Social over the coming weeks.
“We are still working on the venue and we hope to soon be able to reveal the inside of our lovely weavers cottages, which will include some exciting retail space.”
Entry to Social Sundays is free, and each week the event will start at 12pm.
Opportunities are available for stall holders, with a covered space free of charge during the first month of Social Sundays. To find out more, email info@marketstreet.co.uk.
