The Pavilion Café in Avenham Park has been closed temporarily due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’

The cafe closed on Sunday 6 June and will re-open soon, however there is no set date for this.

Public toilets will remain open but will close earlier than usual for cleaning.

Councillor Robert Boswell, Cabinet member for environment and community safety, said: “Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, the Pavilion Café in Avenham Park has been closed since Sunday.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our park visitors. We hope to be able to re-open soon.

“Toilet facilities are open and available, but will close earlier than usual.”
