Passing trains damaged as coping stone thrown from bridge in Lostock Hall

A coping stone has been pushed off a bridge in Lostock Hall causing damage to passing trains.
The incident happened overnight on Friday (4 June) at the bridge in Croston Road.
As well as clipping the trains, the stone caused damage to lineside cables.
Anyone with information should text British Transport Police 61016, quoting ref 2100040267.
