Military medals taken during Penwortham burglary

Police are appealing for information after military medals were stolen from a property in Penwortham.

The burglary took place on Sunday 13 June in broad daylight.

The victim had been awarded the medals for service in Afghanistan and Iraq.

A spokesperson for South Ribble Police said: “Offender(s) have entered the victim’s property during daylight hours and stolen a tin containing five Military Service medals belonging to the victim that were rewarded to him for his service in Afghanistan and Iraq.”

Anyone with information in relation to the burglary or the whereabouts of the medals should email 7268@lancashire.police.uk.
