M6 delays at Preston of more than an hour due to three-vehicle crash

There are delays on the M6 northbound between J31A (Preston East, Longridge) and J32 due to a collision.
The motorway filled with sunseekers heading to Blackpool and the Lake District has been closed resulting in delays of up to 70 minutes.

A three vehicle collision has caused the disruption closing one lane and traffic is currently slow moving for 12.8 miles.
Lancashire police are currently at the scene.
