Lea man wanted by police after man’s ear bitten off in Bamber Bridge attack

Oliver Bland is wanted in connection with a number of offences

Police are appealing for information to find Lea man Oliver Bland.

Bland, of Cotty Brook Close, is wanted in connection with a number of offences that occurred between Friday 18 June and Sunday 20 June.

The offences include assault, criminal damage, harassment, burglary, and an incident where a man’s ear was bitten off at an address in Bamber Bridge.

Bland, who is 38 years old, is described as white, 6ft tall, and of medium build, with tattoos on his arms and neck.

He has links to the Lea, Bamber Bridge and Chorley areas.

Police are urging anyone who knows where Bland is to come forward.

Sgt Scott Archer, of Preston Police, said: “Bland is wanted in connection with a number of offences including a serious assault where part of a man’s ear was bitten off.

“He could be violent if approached and we would urge anyone who sees him, or knows where he is, to call police immediately.”
