An arrest has been made in connection with the Grafton Street stabbing earlier this month.
AdvertisementJordan Bailey was apprehended in Bamber Bridge yesterday (Friday 18 June), following an appeal by Preston Police.
The 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 Assault and possession of a knife/bladed article, and remains in custody.
The stabbing happened on Saturday 5 June at about 3.30pm.
The victim, who was stabbed in the lower back, was taken to hospital by air ambulance but was later said to be making a good recovery.

This arrest follows the previous arrest of a 22-year-old man from Preston on suspicion of assault – GBH.
