A driver is believed to have fled the scene after crashing into a parked vehicle at high speed in a Bamber Bridge cul-de-sac.

The incident happened yesterday (Saturday 19 June) at the end of Edward Street, where the road turns into a footpath.

Residents reported hearing a ‘massive bang’ and estimated the car, a white Volkswagen Golf, could have been moving at 60mph.
