While the campaign is aimed at the children’s market, Leo says the book is ‘for everyone with a lust for adventure and an unstoppable imagination’.

He said: “My imagination has opened doors to many new and exciting ‘what ifs’.

“My book What If is a story about imagination, seen through the eyes of a child; the child in all of us.

“I believe imagination is one of the greatest gifts anyone can have. It can take one to faraway lands – climbing the stairways to a magical castle or blasting off in a cardboard rocket to visit the moon.”

Leo says he’s ready to move forward with the project, should he meet his fundraising target.

“All stages of the artwork have been completed for the Kickstarter campaign and if it’s a success, the book will immediately go into production once I have the necessary funding.

“The book itself is full colour, gloss laminated, has 32 pages – plus soft cover – a frame ready print insert, and is signed.”

Leo added: “I will have written, illustrated and designed the book, and chosen the stock it will be printed on. For the campaign to be successful would be a dream come true.”

There are various rewards available for anyone contributing to the Kickstarter.
