The Pets At Home store in Mariners Way has applied for planning permission for a new mezzanine.
The application states that the additional floor will be used for retail and/or pet care, treatment and grooming facilities.
However, it says the development at the Preston Docks store will not require any more employees.

A flood risk assessment will be carried out due to the distance the property is to water.
The agent of the application is Savills (UK) Limited.
A date has not yet been set for the application to be discussed.
