Person rescued from trampoline pit in Preston

A person was rescued from a trampoline pit in Preston yesterday.

On Sunday, May 23 three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended an incident on Mercer Street.

They used an aerial ladder platform and the Urban Search and Rescue unit also attended to remove a casualty from the trampoline pit.

Firefighters used a basket stretcher to rescue the casualty who was then taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service.

Crews were on the scene for 55 minutes.
