A mouth-watering selection of food and drink will be on offer at next weekend’s A Taste of Chorley festival – with a raft of top outlets signing up to showcase their products.
As the countdown to the always popular street food event continues, organisers can now reveal a host of local restaurants, bakers, brewers and producers who will be taking up town centre stalls next Saturday and Sunday (5-6 June).
The following are all now confirmed as taking part:
More are expected to be added ahead of the festival, which returns after an enforced absence last year and promises to be a real celebration of local produce.
An exciting schedule is also being lined up for the demonstration kitchen in which talented local chefs, butchers and bakers will be showing off simple tasty recipes for people to do at home.
Meanwhile, the Great Chorley Bake Off is shaping up to be a hotly-contested affair, with bakers across the borough signing up to show-off their home made cakes, scones or breads. The competition is free to enter, but contestants need to pre-book a spot before 6pm on Friday 4 June.

The top entries in each category will receive prizes kindly donated by Bees County Kitchen and The Brinscall Baker.
A Taste of Chorley takes place from 10am-4pm on Saturday 5 June and Sunday 6 June. The event will be operated in a Covid-secure way and follow the latest government guidelines.
