Investigation launched after vehicle fire in Preston pub car park

An investigation has been launched after a vehicle fire in a Preston pub car park.


The incident happened in Longridge Road just before 8pm on Saturday (1 May).

One fire engine tackled the blaze for around 30 minutes.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The vehicle was on a pub car park and well alight when firefighters arrived.

“Crews extinguished the fire using breathing apparatus and a hose reel.

“An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.”
