A Crowdfunder has been launched to transform the former bank on the Adelphi roundabout into Bier Box Preston, a venue which will seek to bring the best of beer from across the UK and the world to local beer lovers in the centre of Preston.

Creator of the Crowdfunder Mark Murphy has noticed Preston has developed a fantastic beer scene over recent years, with the introduction of several micro-pubs and ale houses.

This new venue, Bier Box Preston, aims to complement and build on that great foundation.

Fundraisers are hoping to bring Prestonians a bierhaus which also serves fine craft ales in the heart of the redeveloped Adelphi Quarter.

They have hopes for a bar and large tap wall which would offer an extensive range of over 20 German beers and craft ales, an ever changing range of cask ales and hand picked UK and international beers.

The stunning venue would be set over three levels, including a cellar room.

Prestonians can donate between £10 and £999, with different ‘treats’ unlocked with different packages.

For example, if someone donated £50 or more, they would receive a limited edition beer box. If someone donated £75 or more they would get a VIP ticket to the opening night of Bier Box.

If someone were to donate £999 or more, they would receive exclusive floor hire, a live musician and drinks, which can be claimed within the first 12 months of the venue opening.

This project will only be funded if at least £10,000 is pledged by 12 July 2021 at 9:32pm.
