Two Preston men arrested after gun fired at car in Fulwood

Two men from Preston have been arrested after a vehicle was damaged by a gunshot in Fulwood.

Detectives were called to Briery Close, off Watling Street Road, between Fulwood and Ribbleton on Easter Sunday (4 April) at 2.25pm.

A firearm was believed to have been discharged at a vehicle.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Preston Police say two men aged 28 and 22, both from Preston, have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent and are currently in custody.

A police spokesperson said investigations are continuing and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 0827 of Sunday April 4.
