A beauty salon with a difference is set to open in Ashton-on-Ribble.
AdvertisementSkin Medicine will deliver a range of services including aesthetic medicine, permanent make-up, massage, and exercise classes for adults and children.
Situated in Blackpool Road above Dotty Lines, the salon is being opened by owners Marta and Radek Jaworscy.
Marta has worked in aesthetic medicine since 2014, including looking after television stars and footballers’ wives. Radek is a qualified masseur who says he is often told he has ‘hands that heal’.
In the extended team are Aikido trainer Yuna, Pilates and Latino Kids trainer Karolina, and Zumba instructor and permanent make-up artist Magdalena.
The salon’s aesthetic treatments will include botox, dermal filler and Mesotherapy. There will be classes for children in Aikido, Zumba and Latino dance, and for adults there will be Zumba, Pilates and yoga.

The grand opening on Saturday 1 May will include class demonstrations, refreshments and gifts.
Marta says she is looking forward to finally launching the salon after Covid-19 delayed plans.
“We planned to open before Covid-19 but it all stopped and we had to wait.
“The fears are always there, it is not known what the virus may still do. However we are hopeful that these Covid times will not come back, and we will be able to provide our services and ensure our clients’ happiness.”
Skin Medicine will open on Monday to Friday from 10am to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 4pm, and Sunday from 9am to 2pm.
