A knife found by Preston Neighbourhood Police Team lead to the arrest of a 20-year-old male.
The unnamed man appeared at Preston Magistrates court yesterday, April 27, he was then charged with possession of a bladed article.

A stop and search carried out by the force resulted in finding the male in question in possession of a lock knife.
Preston Police Facebook page states the male ‘has been bailed to attend Preston Crown Court later this year.’
The weapon was found as part of Operation Sceptre, as Lancashire Police joins other police forces around the country in supporting a national week of intensive police action against knife crime.
Running from 26 April until 2 May, Operation Sceptre takes place nationally twice a year and supports the work that Lancashire Police does to ensure people across the county feel safe from knife crime.
