Dale Wallace is taking on a fundraising challenge for The Mental Health Foundation

In April 2022, Dale Wallace will embark upon a fundraising challenge to raise money for The Mental Health Foundation.

The challenge is a seven day trek via The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, which includes camping each night and six to 10 hours of trekking each day at 3,500-4,000m altitude.

Dale, who lives in Plungington and is a personal trainer at Puregym Preston, wanted to complete this challenge as he recognises the link between his job and good mental health.

He said: “Mental health is something that is important to me as a coach and it’s why I’ve recently enrolled on to a Mental Health and Exercise Coaching program.

“My intention is to make people feel healthier and happier and as I say this fundraising is an opportunity for me to give back.”

He will also be hosting other fundraising activities to help him reach his £5,000 target, including group exercises classes, seminars and more.

Dale has already started fundraising. To donate, visit JustGiving.
