Local elections 2021: Neighbourhood and parish council elections taking place in Preston

The next Preston local elections are set to take place on Thursday 6 May – the first local elections since May 2019.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.

Two neighbourhood councils are electing members as part of the local elections for the Ingol and Tanterton Neighbourhood Council and the Woodplumpton Parish Council.

Here are the candidates nominated for the Ingol and Tanterton (Ingol South West & Tanterton Ward) Ward:

  • Bill McGrath
  • Cristina Mylroie, Liberal Democrats
  • Tes Slater, Conservative Party Candidate

In Woodplumpton (Plumpton Ward) Ward there are two candidates:

  • Pauline Bamber
  • Charles Somerton Greaves
