Guild Wheel fires tackled by Preston wildfire unit

Several fires have been dealt with along the Guild Wheel near Brockholes.


Firefighters from Preston Fire Station tackled the unattended camp fires and grass fires today (Saturday 3 April).

The fire service’s Polaris six-wheel drive wildfire unit was used to combat the blazes.

On Twitter, a spokesperson for Preston Fire Station asked people to be mindful of the dry conditions, which can cause fires to spread.
