Four fire engines deal with Higher Walton waste fire

Fire services were called to deal with a fire on Kittlingbourne Brow, Higher Walton in the early hours of this morning.

Four fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Preston attended the fire which involved a large quantity of waste.

The building waste was left in the open and fire services were called at around 1.18am on Monday 12 April.

Firefighters used two jets to extinguish the fire, remaining at the scene for three hours and thirty minutes.
