Entrance to Avenham and Miller Park still open despite railway bridge investigation work

Preston Parks have notified locals that contractors on behalf of Network Rail are starting investigatory work today (Monday 26 April).

The work is on and under the railway bridge near New Continental.

It will involve a scaffold tower, and it is hoped it will last no longer than two weeks.

The entrance to Avenham and Miller park will still be accessible.
