Preston’s largest social housing landlord, Community Gateaway Association (CGA) are set to hold an engagement event on Saturday, 1 May between 11am and 2pm.

The event will take place on Samuel Street, Fishwick and St Matthew’s Preston, outside Preston Community hub, the old YMCA building.

CGA staff will be joined by the Neighbourhood Policing team, partner
agencies and voluntary groups, who are all keen to hear from local people about the issues that matter to them.

Hannah McCusker, Tenancy Management Team Leader at CGA and one of the event organisers said: “As the first Gateway organisation set up in the UK, we put our tenants firmly at the heart, so we are always keen to hear from local people about how we can better support them and how they can help shape our services, so please do come and speak with our community engagement team on Saturday to find out more.

“We also work closely with the Police, community leaders and local groups throughout the year to address anti-social behaviour and make our communities safer places to live.

“This event will enable us to understand what concerns people have, so we can work together to resolve them.”
