Virtual local election hustings to be held by Climate Action Preston

A virtual hustings will be held by Climate Action Preston for the upcoming Preston City Council and Lancashire County Council elections.

The event will be held on Saturday, 24 April from 2-4pm.

Climate Action Preston will be inviting a representative from each political party running for the election.

They will also invite any independent candidates, and ensure the panel covers city and council representation.

They are also hoping to invite a speaker or several members of the community representing different demographics to create interest around topics such as climate change, social justice and ‘building back better’ after the pandemic.
