“This park is to be enjoyed not destroyed” – Police appeal after Grange Park vandalism and arson

Preston Police are reminding parents that we are in a lockdown after an influx of calls complaining about children setting fires and causing problems on Grange Park.

The police have also been receiving hoax calls, which waste their time and resources.

Taking to social media, Preston Police said: “If your child is caught out with their friends, you will be the ones on the receiving end of a £200 Covid fine.

“Not only are they wasting our time, they are wasting Lancashire Fire and Rescue and NHS time.

“This park is to be enjoyed, not destroyed. You are responsible for your children.”
