The places across Preston and South Ribble you can dine at outside from 12 April

As many of us eagerly anticipate the reopening of restaurants and socialising outside, here are just some of the places you can dine at in Preston and South Ribble from the middle of April.

Turtle Bay, Preston

Turtle Bay Preston is set to open outdoors, with bookings accepted now for 12 April.

Turtle Bay Preston offers the perfect Caribbean getaway while sun-soaked holidays are still off the agenda.

Booking is essential.

Lime Bar Lounge Penwortham

Lime Bar are getting their outdoor area ready

Lime Bar Lounge Penwortham are preparing to reopen on 12 April with a new outdoor area.

They are taking bookings for tables of six and there are limited amounts of tables.

Walk-ins are accepted, and will be seated on availability and capacity.

PLAU

PLAU are set to open a brand new outdoor area on 16 April.

It is a secret garden they have been working on for a while, and this is the perfect opportunity for them to open it.

Bookings are advised, but not essential.

Wings & Beer Co.

Wings & Beer Co are currently working through getting a pavement licence to have a couple seats outside the venue.

However, if they do create outdoor seating, they will not accept bookings, and would be operated on a first come first serve basis.

Marino’s

Marino’s are set to open 12 April for al fresco dining.

They are not taking bookings, so tables will be first come first served.

Whether they are open will be weather dependant.

The Mill

The Mill Cafe, St Catherine’s Park

The Mill will be reopening for outside hospitality from 12 April if the government’s roadmap goes to plan.

The online diary is open for bookings.

There will be patio heaters provided to outside diners, but there will be no other changes.

Their click and collect service will also continue to operate daily.

The Rabbit Hole at 1842, Lune Street

The outdoor area at 1842 was extended last year to increase availability and is available for booking. The team say even though bookings are advised they are available for walk-ins too – as long as there’s availability. The areas are under cover, with heaters and large umbrellas. A new cocktail menu is being served along with small plates food menu, and there’s live music planned too.

The Golden Ball, Longton

A new tepee dining area has been created on the terrace at The Golden Ball in Longton.

Bookings are essential and it is dining bookings only on the tepee area.

The front terrace will be open as well and is first come, first served there.

Opening times are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12noon (with first opening on Friday 16 April) and food is served all day until 9pm on Friday and Saturdays and 7pm on Sundays.
