A ‘substantial’ cannabis grow has been discovered in Leyland.

Police officers from Leyland and Chorley found the grow at an address in Worden Lane on Thursday (4 March).

Posting on the South Ribble Police Facebook page, Sgt Burgess said: “Yesterday evening and continued through today, officers from Leyland and Chorley have been at an address in Worden Lane in Leyland, having discovered a substantial cannabis grow.

“This has now been dismantled and enquiries to identifiy those responsible are continuing.

“As noted in previous posts, work continues by Leyland Police to identify and target those who are involved with illegal drugs but more importantly those who are involved in their supply.”
