Queen’s Drive Primary School was broken into during Monday (29 March) evening.
The incident is thought to have occurred at around 11:30pm.
Police responded to the incident due to a security alarm going off at the Fulwood school.

Photos show the bottom of a door being boarded up as well as a side window on the reception area.
Julie Webster, headteacher of Queen’s Drive Primary School said: “There was a break-in at the school at around 11.30pm last night, to which police responded as a result of the security alarm being triggered.
“A window was broken in order to gain entry, and some items of small value have been stolen, however fortunately nothing of great significance.
“I have been at the school today to ensure the building is secure and help with the clean-up, and the police are investigating.”
