Work is currently being undertaken in Moor Park to fix a sink hole.
Preston City Council have teamed up with Fintec Groundworks to carry out repair work in the popular park after a collapsed drain caused the ground to become uneven.
Due to the ongoing works, part of the car park is currently closed off, as well as the section of the park where the sink hole is to protect the public.
A spokesperson for Preston City Council said: “We are aware of uneven ground in Moor Park caused by a collapsed drain and are working with our partners to ensure it is fixed quickly.
“The area have been closed to protect members of the public while this work is carried out.
“Unfortunately this involves closing part of the car park so we can access the collapsed drain, and we apologise for any inconvenience this causes.”
