Man taken to hospital with ‘significant stab wound’ after reports of assault in Bow Lane

Lancashire Police were called at 12.07am today (Thursday 25 March) to reports of an assault in Bow Lane, Preston.

When emergency services arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 30s with a significant stab wound to his leg.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

It is believed his injuries related to an earlier altercation in West Strand, and police currently have a scene in place there.

No arrests have been made yet, and enquiries are ongoing.

Marsh Lane in Preston had been closed in both directions, from Strand Road up to the A59 Guild Way.

Anybody with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 0005 of March 25, 2021.
