A Bamber Bridge pub has applied for planning permission for an outdoor area.

Plans submitted for The Hospital Inn in Brindle Road involve three new timber dining huts and a service bar to the rear garden.

The application, which has been submitted to South Ribble Borough Council, is yet to be scheduled for discussion.

In the roadmap out of lockdown, outdoor areas of pubs will open from no earlier than 12 April, and there will be no need to order a substantial meal with alcohol.
