A spokesperson for Archbishop said: “In readiness for World Book Day, some of our staff have donned a mask or filter while they read from a favourite book.

“Our pupils need to guess who is behind the mask to be in with a chance of winning a Waterstones book voucher.”

With the mission to give every child and young person a book of their own, World Book Day is the biggest annual celebration of books and reading in the UK and Ireland.

This year the event is taking place on Thursday (4 March).
