Emergency roadworks to close Fishergate this week

Fishergate is set to be closed for emergency roadworks.

Preston Bus is warning that the remedial works outside Waterstones in the city centre will cause route changes.

The transport firm tweeted: “Emergency remedial works to carriageway defects on Fishergate in Preston outside Waterstones.

“For most of next week Fishergate will be closed and buses will be required to use Ringway outbound between the Bus Station and the Railway Station.”

Preston Bus services are also set to be affected by the closure of Brook Street from Victoria Street to Fylde Road.
