A man was found dead in a house in Plungington yesterday (Tuesday 23 March) after police were called to concerns for someone’s welfare.

Police, paramedics and crime scene investigators were spotted on Emmanuel Street at around 3.30pm.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “We were called to Emmanuel Street, Preston, just after 3.30pm yesterday (23 March) to reports of a concern for welfare.

“Emergency services have attended and a man was sadly found deceased.

“His death is not being treated as suspicious.”
