A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “On Saturday night at 11:36pm, we received reports of a power cut on the underground network affecting 577 properties in Fulwood.
“Engineers reconfigured the network and installed a generator while they carried out repairs. There was a short interruption to power when customers were reconnected to the network.
“On Sunday there was an unrelated fault on the underground network in Ashton on Ribble.
“Engineers carried out a temporary repair and all supplies have now been restored. Engineers will return to site in the coming days to carry out a permanent fix.”
