Three men have been arrested and another is in a serious condition in hospital following an incident in Fulwood.
AdvertisementPolice were called shortly before 5am today (Saturday 6 February) after a man arrived at Royal Preston Hospital with an injury to his foot.
The man, who remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, appears to have sustained the injury outside an address in The Paddock.
The three men who were arrested, on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm, remain in custody.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “We were called at just after 4.40am today (February 6) to the reports a man in his 20s had presented at hospital with an injury to his foot.
“It appears the injury was suffered outside an address in The Paddock. His condition is described as serious but stable.
“It is unclear at this stage how the man sustained his injury and work is ongoing to establish exactly how it was caused.
“Three men, aged 28, 26 and 20 and all from Preston, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH. All three remain in custody.”
