Starbucks opening at Preston Docks for drive-thru coffee on Friday

Customers can order a cup with the a special message to their loved one

A new Starbucks drive-thru will be opening on Friday (12 February) – in time for Valentine’s Day!

Opening on Mariners Way, in the Morrisons car park, the new coffee store will create 15 new jobs for people in Preston.

To celebrate the opening on Friday 12 February, the first 100 people to use the drive thru will be given a complimentary gift bag.

Customers will also be able to try the limited edition Valentine’s Day menu. And for any coffee lovers, there is also the option for customers ordering from Uber Eats to request their cups to be decorated with special love notes to surprise someone special.

Steve Whetton, Operations Manager, Café Fortune said: “We are excited to open our new store in Preston and becoming a part of the local community. The team are closely following the latest guidance from both the government and health authorities to keep everyone safe.”

In accordance with the latest government guidance, the store will be ‘to-go’ only. While seating is not available for use inside our store, customers can still order for takeaway. Mobile Order & Pay, Drive Thru and Delivery will still be fully available to all customers.

The new store is located at Mariners Way, Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, PR2 2YN and open from 6:00am until 10:00pm, Monday to Friday, and 7:00am – 10:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
