The event will support Preston’s music scene and local charity, We Are Hummingbird, a non-profit that aims to make mental health as important as physical health through the power of music.
Musician David Shurr will be performing on the stream with his band Moon and The Beams. He praised Stream To The Street for giving artists a rare opportunity to perform during this unprecedented time of the Covid-19 lockdown.
He said: “Stream To The Street is doing amazing work for creatives in Preston who otherwise would not have the opportunity to showcase their work to a large, music loving cohort of the general public.
“Couple that with the fundraising being done for We Are Hummingbird and you’ve got a scene that I can really get behind, channel my energy into and create awareness for.”
