A gunshot fired on a Plungington street last night is believed to have been a targeted attack.
Police were called to Dallas Street at around 6.50pm on Sunday (21 February) to reports of damage to a house.
Enquiries so far suggest the damage may have been caused by a firearm discharge.

Nobody was injured and there was a significant police presence in the area last night, which will continue.
A spokeperson for Lancashire Police said: “We were called at around 6.50pm on Sunday, February 21st to reports of damage to an address on Dallas Street, Preston.
“Officers attended and while enquiries are in their very early stages, we believe the damage may have been caused by a firearm discharge.

“At this point we believe this was a targeted attack, with the wrong house having been damaged. Fortunately nobody was injured.
“There was a significant police presence in the area overnight which will continue, and anyone with concerns is welcome to speak to an officer.”
