Newman College students putting on live streamed charity music gig tonight

North West’s Lockdown Live is happening tonight (Friday 25 February) to raise money for Young Minds UK.


The virtual music festival is being put on by Newman College students to help with young people’s mental health during the ongoing pandemic.

A group of talented musicians have rallied together to raise money for the mental health charity and to help provide a distraction for people struggling with their wellbeing.

The full line-up is:

  • 5:45pm- Luis and Luke introduction
  • 6.00pm- Matilda Taylor
  • 6.25pm- Zach Eccleston
  • 6.50pm- Holly Pooley
  • 7.15pm- Joel Gardner
  • 7.40pm- Emily Rhodes
  • 8.05pm- Harvey Brittain
  • 8.30pm- Jake Heaton

The event is taking place from 5.30pm tonight and is welcome for anyone to watch.
